Here's my current reading (got this just from Book Sale at 40 bucks)

GOODBYES: HOW TO SAY "SEE YOU LATER" TO YOUR LITTLE ALLIGATOR by Nancy Hall and Peggy Schmidt. Book. 1996. Offers various schools of thought on handling separation, allowing parents to make the appropriate decision for their families.

Page 123 falls under the Chapter Vacations and Business Trips

"If you're under stress, putting off a vacation can be a mistake,: says Dr. Barbara Talent. "Most harmful of all is the parent who is wound up in her own problems and isn't interacting enough with her child," she says.

Whether you feel you can handle being away from your child is an important consideration if the trip is optional rather than a necessity.

HOW SO APPROPRIATE coz I'm so so stressed right now...plus I'm torn between booking that vacation with hubby in Hong Kong. I heard the Cebu Pacific has a promo again! I'm quite having second thoughts since I learned that Zoe fell off her crib yesterday while the yaya was in the kitchen. She literally jumped out of her crib and fell on the ground. Grrrr talaga.
