Merry Go Round

We let Zoe try a carousel for the very first time during our last trip to MOA. I thought that she would enjoy it since I really liked riding on carousels when I was young.

I was wrong...

When we tried to make her sit on one of the horses, she CRIED! So Daddy just had to carry her for the rest of the ride. She was so scared that she didn't even want to look at Mommy who was trying to take pictures.

Lesson learned. Zoe doesn't like carousels (well, not yet).

i noticed that kids are afraid of things that are new to them. ganyan din yung baby ko sa mga rides. pero ngayon, hindi na.... basta hindi gumagalaw hahaha!

Belle and I went on the MOA carousel when she was 1 yr 3 months old. She rode on the horse for half the ride, then got scared so I had to carry her for about a minute till the end of the ride. :)

Zoe's 2nd Birthday Party!

Caution: Loaded with pictures!!! Everything was set for Zoe's 2nd birthday party. We initially invited only a few close family and friends but then our guest list ballooned up to more than 60 people on the day before. No regrets because it turned out to be so much fun! First, the FOOD! We asked the help of my SIL to cook kare-kare and kalderata while our Ate Nilda prepared molo soup, spaghetti, hotdog on stick and fruit medley. My Ninang pitched in and made some leche flan while I made peach & mango ref cake and some canapes (with egg salad) which was a HIT (thanks Anne for the tip!). Our birthday cake was from Red Ribbon (best buy!) while the rest of the food (pancit bam-i, fresh lumpia, chicken lollipops, herb-crusted fish fillet) were ordered from ever dependable Conti's. Simple Celebration - 8th Anniversary

 My pregnancy condition did not allow us to celebrate/dine out on our wedding anniversary this year. But Hunny tried to make that day special for us still by making it a pizza and cake night, not just for the the two of us but for the whole family. :-) Love you dad!
