Here's Abie's question: What would you want to receive this Christmas?

Since it’s seldom that someone asks me what I want to receive this Christmas, I’m taking this hint and writing down my “material” Christmas wish list 2007:

1. Books! – HP Book 7, Series of Unfortunate Events (the whole set), more Agatha Christie books and the remaining titles of the The Cat Who series which I don’t have yet.

2. Electric Oven – We gave away our gas range with the oven when we had a house renovation and installed a new one but without an oven. Totally want to rejuvenate some old baking recipes soon.

3. More gym clothes para ganahan ulit akong mag-gym. I haven’t been back there since September. Super lazy to go.

4. A new planner – can be the Starbucks 2008 planner or just something like my old leather agenda.

5. Does money count? LOL.

Zoe's 2nd Birthday Party!

Caution: Loaded with pictures!!! Everything was set for Zoe's 2nd birthday party. We initially invited only a few close family and friends but then our guest list ballooned up to more than 60 people on the day before. No regrets because it turned out to be so much fun! First, the FOOD! We asked the help of my SIL to cook kare-kare and kalderata while our Ate Nilda prepared molo soup, spaghetti, hotdog on stick and fruit medley. My Ninang pitched in and made some leche flan while I made peach & mango ref cake and some canapes (with egg salad) which was a HIT (thanks Anne for the tip!). Our birthday cake was from Red Ribbon (best buy!) while the rest of the food (pancit bam-i, fresh lumpia, chicken lollipops, herb-crusted fish fillet) were ordered from ever dependable Conti's. Simple Celebration - 8th Anniversary

 My pregnancy condition did not allow us to celebrate/dine out on our wedding anniversary this year. But Hunny tried to make that day special for us still by making it a pizza and cake night, not just for the the two of us but for the whole family. :-) Love you dad!
