Second Anniversary
October 30 marks three important events in our lives...
First - October 30, 1997 was the day Hunny introduced himself to me through the phone (hello PLDT) after getting my number from my officemate. He didn't actually tell me his real name (phone pal?) but I knew all along who he was anyway. In that first phone call, we talked for one hour! Guess that's weird for 2 people who have never seen each other. We really did connect but the how and the why is beyond me. He often repeats to me what he vividly remembers me telling him at that time -- I said, "Get a life! Or get a new girlfriend!" -- but I didn't mean ME (=new girlfriend)! I was happy and content with my single life at that time and had no real longing for a bf/gf relationship. On the contrary, this guy sounded as if his whole life revolved around his ex-girlfriend and was miserable after breaking up with her. My giving him some advice did him a lot of good (I think). Anyway, he started calling me again and again every single night. A couple of weeks later, we decided to meet in Greenbelt. :-)

Second - October 30, 1998, exactly a year after our first conversation, was another date to remember. We had actually been a couple prior to that date but decided to break up for so many reasons a little after our 2nd month. But even after breaking up, we decided to see each other again for dinner in Bennigan's on October 30. After dinner, we went to Starbucks 6750 (it was first Starbucks branch I think) and that's where I said 'yes' again to him. From then on, October 30 was our official anniversary.
Fast-forward to October 30, 2005 -- our wedding day. After 8 years of friendship, we decided to finally tie the knot. Simply put, it was one of the best days of our lives, if not the best.
So this year, October 30, 2007 - we've been married 2 years and now with a baby girl in tow. Pure bliss - that's what I call it. Cheers Hunny to many more years (until forever) of love and happiness!
Here are some pics of our little celebration:
That's Hunny showing off his bandage from the car crash he had in Gen San (which he survived, thank God!).

Do our shoes look good together too?
My little surprise for him - a yummy choco cake from Shoppersville:

Happy Anniversary!
P.S. Since hubby has been injured, I really didn't expect him to give me any anniversary gift. But 2 days ago, I woke with a smile coz he surprised me with a new periwinkle blue Lacoste bag.

It's so cute! I'm so loving it... Thanks Hun.
